WHAT IS LIFT UP AUTISM?
Back in October 2013 Josh Everett, TrainHeroic, and more than 350 boxes in the fitness community rallied together in spectacular fashion to support the Autism community in a worldwide workout event called Lift Up Luke.
This competition for a cause sought to support early diagnosis and treatment of Autism, raise funds for the Autism Tree Project Foundation in San Diego, and most importantly, turn a global spotlight on the measured and severe impact of Autism on families and individuals around the world.

Oct. 7th from 9am-4pm
I am not only a member of the seminar staff for MWOD (www.mobilitywod.com), I also offer workshops about the 4 big lifts and correcting common faults in set up and performance that are crushing athlete’s progress and efficiency. When I travel and teach or work with an athlete one on one, there is a number of things I am constantly fixing. This workshop is a full day event loaded with knowledge I have gained from over 20 years of coaching, teaching, and training and from sitting down with some of the best thinkers and coaches in the industry. It is a great opportunity for coaches and athletes a like to iron out the issues in their squat, deadlift, bench, and press which are keeping them from hitting the numbers they want and getting as strong as possible. You can not substitute a broad base of quality strength and efficient movement. It will bleed over into every aspect of your training. There is a tendency to gloss over the basics or to advance to more complicated skills before competency in these lifts is really achieved.
This one day lifting intensive workshop covers the squat, deadlift, bench and press. The goal of the workshop is to improve set up, bracing and breathing and efficiency in the big 4 lifts. Many will find trouble they have with the major lifts will come back to an error in set up. Many lifters are not aware of the fundamental concepts of lifting heavy weights which are stalling their progress and keeping them from achieving their full strength potential. There will be some lecture and troubleshooting but be ready to lift some weights! The day will conclude with an extended Q&A to discuss individual issues and help people bust through performance plateaus and nagging injuries.
